I get called a snob because I don't pronounce garage as garridge.
I shop mainly in tesco because i like their products......but I do a top up shop in Iceland every other week, their milk and veg is very well priced, and their syrup porridge is far cheaper and tastier than the branded ones, and their coconut ring biscuits are lovely and I've never found them anywhere else. x

Dear me, some of the pretentious twaddle on this thread beggars belief.
I don't use Iceland, purely because I don't really have a need to go in there.
I do use Poundland and similar shops regularly. Why pay 60p per item over the odds when I can get my deodorant and shower gel for a quid a shot?

I regularly buy 3 cans of soft drink in Poundworld and 2 bags of sweets when going to the pictures with my son. Better than paying 3 or 4 times that much in the cinema itself.

Apparently, some on here consider those of us who use such stores as 'chavs'. At the risk of sounding like I'm blowing my own trumpet I've been part of the modern equivalent of 'the thin red line'(and get thanked regularly when I wear my medals and beret on Remembrance Sunday), dealt with drunks, rowdy behaviour, prevented assaults and criminal damage in my local community as a Special Constable, give my time voluntarily as a rugby referee and as part of my job ensure the safety of unconscious patients at their most vulnerable. Despite all this, I'm a chav.

Some people really, really need to get over themselves.

My daughter takes her Next bags when she sneaks into Dolce and Primarni, Primark to anyone else, having left a lookout in case anyone who knows her comes by.
I'm a snob about coffee, if I don't know its provenence, I drink tea.
If someone calls you a snob, do what I did when an uberchav parent called me a snob. "Thank you, how very kind of you to say so", she's probably still puzzling that out.

Ok thanks, got hardly any spots but itch all over (mostly in my hair and it's not nits!), the ones I have got are so itchy, even got one on the bottom of my foot. Having bouts of a temperature and a sickening bad head. Children must feel so awful when they have it. Thank you for asking, x

I too would not shop in Iceland as the AIR-FARE to there is quite expensive !
Mind you seeing the Nothern Lights from there MIGHT make the trip worth while !
