There is an app on the ipad called TV Catchup... I'm sure you can get it on the Kindle fire. Search in the App store. It works thru wireless and you can watch most free channels.

Yes it is possible on Kindle Fire HD. But you first have to download flash. You can find out how to do this from "youtube" I have done this and now I can watch live TV or be it I've only tried BBC programmers yet. I have just seem BUT have not tried it yet an apps called "MyPlayer Pro" it supposed to let you see "Freeview" without the Flash player.
