Hi Jan

Can't be either of these. Methodism was I believe John Wesley.

Secondly first national bank mississippi would be FNBoM

could it be then Mississippis' first national bank ???

Sounds like the answer could possibly be 'Moonfleet'. A classic book about smuggling set in a tiny Dorset village by J. Meade Falkner. His christian name is John, and although the village doesn't exist any more there is a large hotel which bears this name.

If you want to cheat why don't you just ask the vicar?
