Hi All

It is very difficult for me to obtain Sushi rice for some reason. Tesco in their infinite wisdom have started restocking Nori seaweed and Wasabi to make sushi rolls but don't stock the rice. Neither do Sainsburys or ASDA.

Without having to resort to mail order expense, how feasible would it be for me to use standard pudding rice as like sushi rice it is short grain and sticky!!!!

This I can get no probs and its cheap!

Have you tried Marks and Sparks or Waitrose ? Or a small Oriental or Asian shop might have a better range. Dunno about using the pudding rice let us know how it works out !
