thanks, wanting to go for dinner so assume will be ok. want a nice relaxed ambience where you arent kicked off your table quickly.
There's a brilliant one in Canterbury but I guess that's a bit far away!!!
I normally hate it when someone replies to a question here with the answer "Why don't you Google it?". I usually regard such a response as unhelpful and rather rude. But, for once, I'm going to suggest exactly that!

That link immediately brings up 7 possibilities, with between 59 and 434 reviews for each restaurant, drawn from multiple review sites and summarised into unified star ratings. Click on the word 'reviews', next to each restaurant, to read all of the details. To expand the list further, click on "More results near Westminster, London, UK".

Many of the places listed though seem to be concentrating on the 'fast food' side of things. For a decent birthday meal, Mestizo (which is well reviewed) might well be worth considering:

The Texas Embassy off Trafalgar Square is truly hideous. Cafe Pacifico is Tex-Mex but has been around for years and has a good atmosphere and above average food. Wahaca serves Mexican street food, there are two the original is in Covent Garden and I think a new one has opened at the Westfield shopping centre, you can't book and it does get crowded but it's not bad.

I'd go with Cafe Pacifico for fajitas and chilli and fab margaritas!
Yes, and Cafe Pacifico is very jolly.
