Inspired by a reply on another thread of mine, do you have any restrictions on where your pets, mainly cats and dogs, are or aren't allowed in your home?

Makes me feel better when other softies confess, Prudie!
Six dogs and they have the run of the house. Two sleep on/in bed, two in baskets beside the bed and two in a puppy pen (which is actually about half the bedroom). If I sit on the settee they all try to get on with me. Going to the loo is interesting as they all want to come in as well and if I am in the bath I get a row of toes and noses all along the bath trying to like the water.
'lick' the water!
< < < < 2 of those, one's a rescue. They can go anywhere they like except the bedrooms and on the settees
Our dog has a free reign in the house, except for the couch and beds.

Can't abide dogs mooching at the table either.

< < < not allowed? i don't understand the question
Our Choc Lab doesn't like the rain either, doesn't mind splashing about in puddles though !.
No! except when I am out she has to be put into a safe place because she has had a couple of passing out terns and I wouldn't want her falling off the sofa.
She has a cosy spot under the stairs and has the run of the hall and kitchen till I get home.
Not upstairs. Years ago, I made the mistake of allowing wolfhound pups on the bed. That's fine when they're only as big as a whippet, but they never forget and it's not much fun when they're nearly a metre tall !
No pets in the kitchen if possible, unless it is a thoroughfare in which case pets in the kitchen as little as possible, its a very dangerous place to have pets under your feet, not to mention unhygienic. No pets allowed on work surfaces either or eating leftovers off plates.
No dogs on beds, cats are allowed as they are small and less smelly lol.
No dogs on any furniture of any kind, nothing worse than going to someone's house and sitting on a stinky sofa and getting your clothes covered in animal hair.
Hate to see cat litter trays in people's kitchens too...yukky.
They go exactly where they want, when they want. I know my place.
We don't have any pets now, but my brother-in-law has his dogs at the dining table. Yuk.
No furry friend now, but Max used to go were he wanted, after all it was his house as well as ours.
Can't understand why people restrict pets from various rooms. My dog can go wherever he likes, it's his home too and he's welcome everywhere.
Reading some of these answers I don't know why some people have a pet in the first place.
There are worse things a person can do to a pet than not let it in the bedroom...

It's bad enough I have to listen to Mr P snoring and farting all night without the spaniel joining in too.
LOL 2sp .......
