Solvers should note that 12A is indeed 5 letters long as shown in the clue, even though there is bar after 4 letters in the diagram - in the PDF version, at least.

Germy (ahem), thought I'd say hi - your godson here (thanks for moral guidance). Found this Azed trickier than usual. I'm currently completely stumped for a good way into the clue comp. So much for my hope of starting my attack on the new Azed year with a stonker.
