its only in the uk that a lot of people thinks this show is crap.
the rest of the 42 counties don't think its crap it means a lot to them, if you can catch a show on ch 4+ called "the secret history of the eurovision song contest" you'll see why, politically and human rights issues in there too
Engelbert seems to spend most of his professional life chanting Please Release Me and The Last Waltz to wrinklies in Las Vegas.
How, exactly, does that put him in pole position as a representative of the UK in Europe?
Faded glory no longer works it seems.
Bound to win next year......it's Prince Harry rapping.
LOL craft - not such a bad idea ......... :)
I was naive enough to think the voting might be faiere this year - nope, still political. Graham (like Terry) was correctly predicting which country would give the most votes to their allies. The winner, Sweden, was absolute rubbish - reminded me of something Kate Bush used to do.
The whole thing is a travesty.

Much of the voting is predictable, for friends & neighbours, regardless of the quality of the songs.

As the UK is short of friends in Europe, we don't have a ghost of a chance, and are often a laughing stock. La Grande Bretagne - nul points!

So why are we paying for it? Answers on a 1000 Euro note, please
