Perhaps I'll Do Before I Croak

Bit of fun but I've never done the following----Been in a betting shop,gone into a pub on my own,eaten a knickerbocker glory,been to an airport,seen a plane on the ground,not to mention flying(other than my broomstick at Halloween)but perhaps one day I will get my wish and go to New Zealand---or perhaps go on a cruise.---in my dreams.

I hope some of those dreams come true. I never flew in an aeroplane until I was 60, couldn't keep me away after that. I managed to go to Australia, Singapore and Bankok, Greece, Spain. Places I'd only dreamed of. Best of luck.

Always been scared of flying and heights. When OH was too ill to do it, I had to climb on the roof of a two storey building twice a year. I started by getting tipsy and could, after a few years do it sober. This seemed to cure my fear of flying too so I am going to go the whole hog to celebrate by wing walking.

Chi. About thirty years ago OH and I built a swimming pool. I dug, he built. We heated it by a solar mat on the roof of a two storey barn. Worked really well but the vine growing around the barn would creep through the mat so had to be hacked back. When he could no longer do it I had to but only after a couple of glasses of wine to steady the nerves. Bit of a bu99er if I sobered up while I was up there, OH would have to send up fresh supplies.

Not owl watching though. Recall once after a row with a hospital consultant he phoned to apologise. OH had to say I couldn`t take the call...I was on the roof drunk. Poor soul thought I was suicidal.

gness....funny, you definitely are an all rounder! I was going to say did you
see any owls up there! I don't like heights either, bedroom window high enough, from the inside, but I don't mind flying, cos I can't see the ground, don't realise how
high up it is. You would never get me on the roof!!!!
