Series gets better every episode - Mr Q & I can't work out who the baddie is. Very enjoyable and gripping. Though after last night I have gone off Martin, the Danish cop and dislike Saga, the Swedish cop even more!

I agree. Great series and lots going on. I don't think we have met the real baddie yet. I am warming to Saga but can't get my head around what Martin did (trying not to give any spoilers).

I strongly suspect that the reporter will be a victim at some point and can only hope its soon. Odious man.

I don't think Saga's behaviour was good either. I hope the baddie isn't someone who we see near the end of the series.

I agree about the reporter - he deserves whatever he gets.
Did anyone else thing that, in the scenes so far that have including the "killer" it seemed to be the stature of a woman? Tying hard to work it out, but it sure has us guessing!
Question Author
never suspected it might be a woman! you've got me thinking now.
Considering that the baddie policeman had been held in that room for quite a while, how did the murderer know just when he walked out of it? Surely he couldn't have been sitting round the corner waiting, so could it be the old man???
Whilst it hasn't specifically been mentioned i recon Saga had a form of autism. She is unable to relate to people on a emotional level. She would not see anything wrong with sleeping with August (if indeed that actually happened). Most of the killers actions have been planned weeks in advance and all set in motion. I think he/she would have had time to wait for the baddie policeman as this was opportunistic and not part of the overall plan. Of course I could be wrong.
I think the killer in the Bridge is the guy that Saga picked up in the club and has had sex with twice because she was with him when she heard that Anja had been sighted, which is how the killer knew that the police were looking for her. On the phone the killer tells Saga she will work it out. If it is the casual sex guy that's really creepy.
Really warming to Saga, i like how she's straight to the point but there is a warm heart under there, she knew when the runaway girl was dying but when she asked she told her no she wasn't cos she'd learnt to tell white lies to spare peoples feelings from Martin, brilliant series, badboy Martin though in last episode. Have a feeling it might be the guy who works with the journalist Daniel, the big guy with long hair. It has got me absolutely hooked love it! Also think Martins son maybe inadvertently giving information away about the case to the 'girl' on the net
Am I imagining it or did The Bridge lose its way in episodes 7 and 8 last night?
Characters such as the software seller Sebastian (?) were introduced but not developed. The tension and pace seemed to vanish and instead we got long, dull dialogues about what being a good husband and father means. Saga however continues to fascinate - she is a deeply unusual and compelling character. I felt the introduction of a completely new character (who is meant to be dead) as suspect killer was a bit of a cop out. Even the demise of Stefan Lindberg seemed tame and anticlimactic.
agree with your last post isabelb but have the feeling that sebastien will be further developed in the next episodes.
