Thanks all, got brain fade today!

Now struggling with 10D Part of foot bridge is too thin to be erected incomplete. I have T-O-S--, looks like Tootsie, I get 'part of foot' but don't see the rest. Thanks in advance!
looks like TOE (part of foot)
IS TOO erected (backwards) is OOTSI.
I assume thin means cut it down so TOE with OTSI in it?
Igbnore that.

ridg(E IS TOO T)hin erected (backwards)
bridgE IS TOO Thin
of all the words that fit tootsie looks best but I don't get the 'bridge' ref.

Thanks again Squarebear. Think I'll try again in the morning, perhaps my brain will engage then!!
The 'tootsies' or toes form part of the bridge of the foot.
totally agree with squarebears first answer
tootsie was a PART played by Dustin Hoffman
I am not aware of feet having a part called a bridge.
bridge of the foot = instep
Looks like SB has it. What part does 'incomplete' play in this?
tootsies is in the clue but is only part of it, but you have to read it backwards
