Well can we? shall we? That lady made her point yesterday to the Goverment & the lies regards the NHS, can we all point our views ( If allowed on here) & start The Answer Bank protest? there are thousands of us on here. Well? Or are you going to sit back & let it happen.

She didn't make a point to the government, she merely stated her point of view. The government doesn't have a monopoly on NHS related lies, as I'm sure the unions and the Royal Colleges also put their spin on aspects of the NHS that suits them. Anyway, what would this petition say? Down with the government? Down with greeds consultants who moonlight in the private sector?

I've read the thread from start to finish and not quite sure what you want to acheive TWR.

As others have said, if you were to start a petition or post a link to one and encourage us to sign up that would be a start.

As it is this thread doesn't help us to understand the point you want to deliver to the Government other than to moan about parking charges and drunk people receiving treatment at A&E. What about all the Saturday morning football injuries, the smokers, overweight people and those who have blocked their arteries with lardy chips?

What about the fact that the NHS has kept so many more people alive today than it did 20 years ago that the aging population is now huge. Hipo ops are carried out at an enormous rate everyday and what a wonder they are. But should people have to pay for that? Do you have any suggestions for the petition which would actually make the service better?

Regards the smoking post, I do not smoke I seen sense there, the drinkers, I do not get to the stage where I can not help myself, to the obese, I do not control their hands that feed their face, they should do that themselves, It was said about sites for petitions I went & signed, I wonder how many of you have? the point of the parking was with someone that works within the NHS.
