Bend any arm at elbow, palm up. Flex hand downwards.
Press the fleshy pad of your hand near to the wrist, opposite the thumb.

Do you get a hard lump appear on your wrist (palm side) that doesn't disappear until you press it and feel a crunch?

No, that doesn't happen to me. How did you discover this talent?

Errr, no. My arms are the only parts that bend easily.

Time for me to creak my way to bed.

ummmm, I suspect it was back in the Dark Ages when I was bored silly at my desk in skool.
It's normal to prod and pull at yourself when you're growing up, no?
My arms don't bend at all, thank god for elbows..
Two (maybe three - too young to check yet) of my children are hyper mobile and they can bend in all sorts of ways. They can put their hand flat on a hard surface and bend their thumb back behind 90 degrees. Very good if they want to do gymnastics, very bad if they don't want to fall over all of the time.
Very true hc, very true :-)

Nooooo. This isn't bending in a freakish, weirdy way.

Just bend your arm at the elbow as if your forearm is resting on the desk.
Tense your hand down so your wrist is taut.
Then press the fleshy bit.
My children are not bendy in a freakish way! Only kidding, some of them are very floppy though.

Eeek :O
I can stand with my feet pointing directly at each other (inwards) - they originally wanted to break my hipsor put me in calhers. Think I must be a bit hyper mobile too!

Thanks for the link sqad, I'm glad I didn't bother to try the self deformation as it wouldn't have worked on me. I suspect that this practice is not to be recommended. Keeping well?
