I sympathise.
My daughter didn't sleep through the night until she was 5 (that's YEARS not months)
She is now 16 and I look younger now than I did then!
I have thing 1 on the sofa as I type - little madam won't go in her bed (and to make h would mean she would wake up thing 2). I am at a loss as to how to sort it out (currently telling her she won't be going to playgroup tomorrow - but she's not having any of it).
One word

Routine
When anyone like that calls, tell them youre only renting for a few months!
one of mine didnt sleep til 5 years old

easier said than done sometimes joeluke
Question Author
joeluke that is her routine to go up to bed at 6 its tea by five, then wind down till 6 up for bath then shes usually out by 7. Tonight though I skipped her bath and gave her a wash,i couldn't lift her into the bath had I tried.
I have promised her we will go into town tomorrow if she went through, and she fell asleep saying town and signing shops in makaton, but she may have to wait until sunday when her dad is off and he can come with us as i want to pick up a wooden chest for her toys, will be heavier then te plastic box so hopefully less toy carnage.
if anyone like that calls me i just say i cant speak english, they dont bother after that....
Oh there's no messing in JoeLuke's house, if Baby JoeLuke refuses to lie down in his or her bed, he staples their babygro to the bedding- there's no escaping 'The Routine'!
Bribery - You're setting yourself up for a hard time.

Have you thought about just letting her cry?
Question Author
ummm yes i normally let her cry but tonight i was so tired i would have done pretty much anything to get her to go off, plus she has birthday money to spend so will be using that on her.
He used to sleep in a soundproofed room in a baby strait jacket actually Boo

Didn't grow up spoilt like those without any PROPER routine do though
It's still bribery firewatch. At her age she doesn't understand money. You're teaching her that if she goes to sleep she can get xyz.
I have resorted to bribery with thing 1, I honestly don't know what else to do (can't do what I did with the others as she sleeps in the same room as thing 2 and is disturbing his sleep).
I agree with Ummmm... My mum was bad for that and letting me get my own way. I will admit that I still can and do play her and it's actually really horrible. You don't want her to get into that habit.
Sher....you have 5. FW has 1.
Ummmm - if I had thing 1 first, I would only have 1 (she's far too wild - by nature, not nuture).
I tell telephone chuggers that if they don't take me off their calls list IMMEDIATELY they will never receive a donation from me again and I will report them to the charity commission. It tends to work :-)
Same with my number 3. He just goes from one phase to the next phase. We should really only communicate via messaging :-)
You can cut out a lot of unwanted phone calls by registering with the Telephone Preference Service ...
