Has anybody, when going to the bar, asked for a coke and been told its pepsi, said no?
was at a coemdy club last night, and a women did!! Just made me think, does anybody else only but one specific product and will not have anything else?

What if you want a cola and they only have pepsi? is there much difference in taste? never noticed much difference

I'd always pick coke over pepsi based on taste but wouldn't reject pepsi if that was all that was on offer. I don't know if it's relevant but sometimes refusal is based on political views if the company was involved in something against their views. I remember in New York in the 80s my hosts refused to buy Tetleys Tea because Tetleys supported the British 'shoot to kill' policy in N Ireland. ???

I can't tell the difference in taste if it comes from a machine. If it's bottles or cans, I would refuse a Pepsi.

What amuses me sre the people who order a bloody mary and demand its Smirnoff vodka,or scotch and ginger and demand its Glenfiddich or something similar.If you are going to put tomato juice with vodka or ginger with whisky does it really matter if its not the top brands

If, for instance, I ask for a rum and coke I'm not all that bothered about what make it is, but if I ask for a specific brand then that's what I expect to get not some similar stuff that they trying to flog off as the real thing.

Some people don't appreciate the difference though - but yes, there are brands I prefer over others.
