Just checked the odds with Ladbrookes, and Nirvana are 3rd favourite at the moment at 6/1....

Any previous attempts to knock the x-factor off the top spot, have been orchestrated by Simon Cowell anyway in order for his company to get double the dosh.

The Military Wives Choir will be the first genuine and deserved Christmas number one for many years.
