This week my Whine will revolve around pets.
Bloody expensive things! Hundred bloody quid for some eye drops and shampoo. I could have gone to boots and got some optrex and head and shoulders for a tenth of the cost!!!
It's a bloody conspiracy to prevent me buying games for my PS3!!

What is your Whine of the week

I am pretty sure that neither Optrex nor H&S is steroidal.

My whine of the week is that I always seem to be chief tea-maker. It would be nice to occasionally have a cup made for me.
My whine of the week is that I want a kindle Fire and I can't have one!

Actually, its an ongoing whine until I get one which probably won't be until next year :o(((
bobjugs - I think that it is a case of love NoM love her mutt. He was there first and she may decide that she wants to 're-home' one of her boys. Watch out coz it ain't gonna be Alfie that goes.
Obviously she thinks more of her dog than she does of you

Woof
For heavens sake grow up, Joe.
Ed - get rid of these bloody M&Ms now invading the Ad Space - they are driving me nuts with their "Say Something" and they don't shut up when I say "Feck off"
Someone flounced....didn't fill out the flounce form. Then came straight back...and didn't fill out the reverse flounce form!!!

Scandalous!!!
Not a whine bobjugs. Its a conspiracy by the drug companies and the Vets. Where I live, our vet always gives a name of a human drug that is identical to the animal drug. It costs on average 10% of the animal brand when bought at the chemist.
People you sit around on PS3's all day ; )

How's it goin' mate?
Still not missing the mob? I know I still sometimes do.
He does miss it, Al, and he misses his mates but he sees the kids more now and his earnings have gone through the roof since his firm won their last bid/contract, so every cloud and all that... X

Hey Al,
God yes I miss it at times. Having somebody else to take care of all your admin, dental and medical stuff for you. Free gyms. Subsidised bars. Hangovers at work being allowed. Skive drives. Free holidays under the title of "teambuilding"
Most of all, I miss my muckers. There was always someone to go for a beer with, or to catch a movie with. People that took others at face value, with no alterior motive. Civvy street seems full of people who'd stab their own Nan in the back for brownie points with the boss. The constant bitching and backbiting wears ya down.
However, as NoM said, I get my kids all the time and the furthest my work takes me is Kent (which, even on a bad day, is better than Afghanistan by a country mile lol)
Added to that, all this extra work means NoM has agreed to let me buy an Slfa Romeo after Xmas :D
Scusi? You must have got me drunk or something...
Nice to hear it mate : )

Yep .. know what it's like. I really miss the flight line at Brize 10 Eng. Great fun we had there .. along with night shift mischief (you know what teckies are like)

Just make sure you don't buy Sara's old Alfa .. needed a rake of work .. in fact a lot of them do sooner or later!
Mazda 6's are old boy's cars anyway (if you still have it)

Hugs ... Al.
Al, he's driving atm so he's asked me to tell you that he still has Mazdy but she's OTR again. X
Not again!

He should swap a scalpel for a spanner sometimes!
x A
