I recently bought a JML table top halogen oven and would like to know if I can use my flexible silicone trays in it? I want to bake a cake in the halogen oven but I don't want to ruin my silicone tray or melt it with the direct heat from the halogen.

Wouldn't think so scrummy x
Good quality silicone rubber baking trays can be used in a halogen oven, but shouldn't come too close to the heating element, or else there's the possibility that they could melt, just as they can in a conventional oven. A case of using your judgement, I'm afraid!

Thanks for your replies! Maybe I won't risk it!
I made a batch of 6 walnut muffins in a silicone tray. You can use them, but the results were not too good. At 200 degrees Celcius and 18 minutes: the middle wasn't cooked, and the outside was tough. Perhaps I try again at a slightly lower temperature and with the ring to highten the top. After all, I still have the rest of the mixture (6 More, but this time chocolate muffins with chocolate chips) and I do not want to throw that away!
