I remember being told it as a kid - have a good cry and get it out, but does it really help?

Things are going rubbish at the mo, and I feel like I'm teetering...maybe a good old cry at a soppy film would help?

TIA x

The time-scale doesn't matter about reporting it. Do it please (If you haven't already done so)

You do have virtual friends on here to whom you can moan at, scream at and also get virtual hugs x

Thank you alba - it really does mean a lot x
Whether you can or can't identify them won't matter to a certain degree. Maybe the police are aware of these sickos and are tracking them (somehow)

Rent a black and white comedy film, they are good for releasing the valves and you wonder why that funny clip got such a reponse of hilarity which had no bearing on the comic moment.

Take care xx
Sorry to hear about everything you have been through recently. I definitely agree with the advice on a good cry, and a bottle of wine. But when I am in this kind of situation, after the good cry, I always crank on some good tunes - with happy memories (often ones from my teens) and have a good old dance around - it seems to help finish the sadness with a bit of a high. x x

thanks ldc - love the avatar! x
sorry, missed the Sunday post, haven't been on here much lately - have a howl, have a drink and do whatever else it takes to make yourself feel better. I often find it involves chocolate in copious quantities. xC

thanks carma - am currently doing just that, well i've started on the wine, gonna choose a film later when Halifax girl's friends go home, and have got the howl and the choccy all sorted x
God Halifax, that's terrible! And you seemed on such a high about your new job! Do whatever you feel helps - whether it's screaming, crying, hitting a pillow or having a good old dance about - or all of the above. But don't bottle things up, that's just asking for trouble. I hope things improve for you soon and you start to feel better xxx
Yes, without question.
A cry helps sometimes! When does your new job start?
halilfaxmum - do report it. If the police know about it, there might be other people being attacked, a pattern developing. Very scary. You have every right to have a good bawl - I know I would.
You should report it, you might feel better for getting the whole story of your chest even if they don't catch them. As others have said, the police may already be aware of them.
HM

I replied before without reading all the posts here. I agree that you should report this to the police. These sort of thugs have probably done this sort of thing before or will again. Even if they are not caught immediately it will alert the police that something is happening.
Would the Samaritans help at all HM? They don't mind you having a good cry while talking to them.
Gives me a terrible headache. Don't know which is worse the misery or the headache.
