Well thanks to my brother who forgot he'd got to come to Birmingham to pick me up (not allowed to drive with dodgy knee) last night and went for a drink instead - and the couldn't pick me up this morning as he was out at 4.30am on the fishing boat....so I'm stuck on my own.....no doggies (already down in Devon) no hubby (Frankfurt until Thursday) Major and Leah on holiday - together!! in Jersey...can't be bothered to do lunch just for me........not allowed in the garden in case i fall, (again dodgy knee)

What for, it is one hell of a drive to Birmingham and back. Could you not use a taxi?

He was in Birmingham already, doing his fish deliveries to the hotels and restaurants here - he was supposed to come and pick me up - but he forgot and drove home, then went and had a drink, so he couldn't come back for me. And anyway - a taxi? - What do you think I am made of money?
