Could it be the turks head lilly? It certainly bears some resemblance to a turban.
None? - the turban gets its name from the shape of the expanded flower - the tulip. ( Latin name Tulipa from the Turkish Tul(i)band, and the Persian Dulband. ) Or is it the other way round? Just to confuse matters, there is a flower called the Turban Lily, which has deep red spotted turban-shaped flowers.
