is it quicker goin from preston-oxford or warrington to oxford ??? can someone please reply thanks

by what means?
It's 143 miles from Preston to Oxford. 123 from Warrington. I'd guess warrington is quicker.
If you're driving down the M6, then surely Warrington is quicker than Preston, it's a bit further South. Other methods, sorry can't help, check Nat Rail etc

If you live in Preston drive to Warrington & start from there.Ron.
By train to Warrington from preston app 20mins.

Preston to Oxford: 2 hours 57 mins (hourly service, changing at Wolverhampton)

Warrington Bank Quay to Oxford: 2 hours 35 mins (hourly service, changing at Wolverhampton)
