Agree Bobbi - as long as they are in situ we don't have a dictatorship, military coups etc - they get my vote every time.

are you still living abroad carmalee?

No not at the moment Bobbi but am toying with the idea of going back to South Africa -both my children were born in Africa (Rhodesia) and have like me have lived in various places in southern Africa - but unlike me have stayed there. now they and their respective families are just outside Cape Town and involved in the family business (privately guided safaris) - have been asked to go back and maybe help out in the company so as the request came from that side and not from me I could just maybe do it! we'll see - lots to take into consideration.

arhhh , nice country , I was there quite a few years ago , my sister in law still lives there, it was called Secunda down in the Transvaal but I think it has changed it's name now, My B'I'L was killed there and I traveled over toy attend the funeral so didn't see a f
