Having just watched the "Heroes Awards" tonight, yes I am humbled at the courage of our men and women...who wouldn't be???
We can sit here in the comfort and warmth of own homes but these guys are what makes Britain great !!!

I felt very proud of our servicemen in the Falklands conflict too, I was luck enough to be coming bakc from the I.O.W when one of the hospital ships were returning, it's a memory that will stay with me forever, all the flags being waved and the military bands, welcoming them home from the quayside
