I took a batch of Royal Wedding photos today and wish to emai a few of them.
The first photo I tried to attach gave me a massage - '1 file cannot be sent' but yet the others in the batch attached OK. Can anyone suggest why this should be?
PS I an using yahoo email.

The file size is probably over 10Mb, which is the maximum accepted by Yahoo mail. (If so, it suggests that you're using a camera with far more megapixels than you'll ever need, and that you've failed to choose a reasonable resolution within the camera's settings).

If you're emailing photos which will only be seen on a computer screen they should ideally be around 30Kb to 50Kb. (0.03Mb to 0.05Mb). If they're intended for printing out, 300Kb to 500Kb (0.3Mb to 0.5Mb) is probably a decent size to aim for.

You've almost certainly got some suitable software for reducing the file sizes. (it probably came with your camera). Otherwise download and install Irfanview:
http://www.irfanview.com/
Then go to Image > Resize/Resample
Choose a suitable size (such as 640 x 480) and click 'OK'.
Go to File > Save As and save your smaller image.
Then email that small file.
