I'm going out now, so have a fab, jolly day, everyone.

I just thought I'd better mention ... before the Ed is thrown into the Tower ...

On the AB logo, the Union "Jack" on the left is upside down.

If you look at the broad white diagonal stripes ...

... on the flag on the right, the broad white stripes are at the top where the flag meets the flagpole (correct way up).

... on the flag on the left, the broad white stripes are at the bottom (flag upside down).

This is presumably to acknowledge the feelings of those ABers (are there any???) who are not interested in the wedding.

Anyway ... have a totally fab day, guys. Time for a Danish and some bubbles.

The flag is correct, it's just that the pole is on the wrong end.
Those flags match 2 sources I have just looked at. The flag design must have been changed without me noticing.

This has been posted several times already in the past two days. I can't see it myself.
well spotted JJ...
the point is that both flags look exactly the same. As they are on different sides of the poles, they shouldn't. Also, as the OP hints, they're only Union Jacks if they're on a ship; otherwise they're Union flags. I'm not sure this falls under the treason laws, otherwise the Ed is in trouble.
They may look the same but, if you look more closely, you'll see that the one on the left is indeed upside-down...
Well spotted JJ,I would never have noticed. Sorry Ed your for the tower.

The ED did comment that it was deliberate (yea right) to appease both the pro and anti Royal wedding parties.
