The hairiness thing- it is said that female hormones keep the hair on your head, and male hormones keep the hair on your body. So bald men may have proportionately more male hormones than non-bald men, and hairy women may have an excess of male hormone.
Very heavily hairy women may have a problem with adrenal glands
