Ebay fees. Do I have to pay?

I was looking at my Ebay account and it shows that I have fees of 30p from listings that I made. These were made ages ago and the items did not sell. I only use Ebay to buy but just put these items on to see if they would sell. The thing is I've never noticed these fees before and have never been told by Ebay that they are due. Am I supposed to pay them and will interest be charged on them at any stage if I don't?

Of course you have to pay the listing fees. They provided you with a service.
if you dont pay you'll be struck off ebay.

Haven't got a clue how to do it. As I say I didn't know it existed until today.
Not sure as I only use Paypal, but next time you buy and pay for something it may include the 30p.
I used to be a big ebay user and received fee invoices every month. I now hardly use it and have 36p seller's fee to pay from August last year. I haven't had any bills/reminders for this outstanding amount for the last 5 months. Perhaps ebay don't bother chasing very small amounts but wait until further fees are owed in the account...

why are you panicing over paying a 30p fee, for fluffs sake, i pay that for the fun of it, i mean if only our taxs were that price, so dont worry about it.
who said anything about panicking?

as simple question was asked...no one has suggested the op is remotely upset about this...

why do so many people respond to simple questions you ask by implying that you need to 'calm down' and that the fact that you are asking means you are in hysterics over it?
Hi.....it will be the Ebay Computers standard payment reminder.....Reply to it and say.."Please cancel this outstanding fee of 30p...i no longer use ebay for selling and feel these charger are invalid...the fact that you are pestering me for 30p..is putting me off ebay, and i will be forced to close my account and take my buying power elsewhere..I have been a loyal member of your auction site for (however long). Please dont insult me by repeated demands for 30p........They will waiver it...trust me...
alternatively - instead over opening a dispute and a load of tedious correspondence with all sorts of haughty nonsense trying to get out of paying a debt - as silversky suggests...just pay the 30p you owe them and forget about it...
If you have your eBay account tied to your PayPal account then eBay will take the required fees automatically. However, they do not bother with amounts under one pound, but will wait until your fees go over one pound before taking them. If your items had sold, then it's most likely that the listing fees together with the 10% selling fees would have taken the owed amount to more than one pound and you might not have even noticed its inclusion in the monthly bill. Hope that helps.
''If you have your eBay account tied to your PayPal account then eBay will take the required fees automatically.''

Unless you have specified that you wish to make 'one off payments' in which case they can't take it automatically...
