How can I fit a cat flap to a double glazed door?

you need to get a new double glazed unit with a hole cut into it. any glazers or window fitting company should be able to help. you will need to buy the cat flap first (one suitable for double glazed) to get the hole size.

I have just put a flap in a double glazed door, last weekend.

It depends on your door but if it has a flat panel it is no different to putting one in a wood door.

My door was more complicated because it had panels within panels  but the door is in and successful although i have had to seal it where it ajoins the door to stop the rain getting in.

Now I am waiting for the cats to learn how to use it!!
