without actually researching, I'd guess wine has less calories than lager. This is due to less residual sugars present in wine.
there's a lot more calories in wine than beer but you tend to drink less of it. Calories are mainly due to the alcohol content.

so just to compare like with like 250ml of kronenbourg is 107 calories.

beer and lager are mostly the same, range from 180 - 250 cals depending on strength, and guiness is in that range not as often thought more calorific.

Some non alcholic beers are virtually nothing.

I'm not making a point pinki, I'm supplying the equivalent for Kronenbourg in your example so that the questioner can make a direct comparison, ie that fizzy wine is per ml almost twice as calorific as Kronenbourg. Beer (includes lager) should only be served in pints! As morse once said "I don't drink units I drink pints"
