I just got asked for ID in tescos for a film rated 12! Although I didn't have any makeup on and my bust was well covered up under my coat, I do have a baby face and I had flat shoes on! But still . . . . . . Were you ever IDed when you were well over the minimum age?

Was occasionally refused entry to nightclubs when I was just old enough, but nothing much since. Of course when I was a child we were sent to the shops for Mum or Dad's cigs etc, no problem.
I was hoping to be ID'ed when I went for my first pensioner's cinema ticket.............I wasn't :-(...

Aaawwww. My dad won't get a b&q diamond crad as people will know he's over 60. Similar thing with bus passes except he doesn't use public transport anyway.
One time in the USA when I was 31 years old I was asked for ID when I asked for an alcoholic drink, and am delighted to say the barman went "Oh My God!" when he saw my passport.

My 9 year old just bought a 12+ game and wasn't id checked - I was in the store and clearly with him and he is big for age. I am ok with 12 rated games (depending on the content) but wouln't let him get any higher. I do think it is just so hard to tell now, but not many 12 year olds have id anyway so I think it would be difficult to enforce a 12 limit if children are buying on their own. When I was in the shop there was a woman clearly buying an 18 game for her son who looked about 3 or 4. She kept on checking with him which of 2 18 rated games he wanted before taking one of them to the counter.
- once got asked for ID to get into an over 21s club when I was over 30 - very flattering!
Last time in USA was asked for ID when buying a beer at airport bar. At time I was 65.

What The Funicular mouse!
I got asked for ID when buying fags a few months ago (when I was 26). I happily passed it over and on looking at my date of birth the woman said, "oh, you're THAT old". Thanks love!

On the reverse, I got into the theatre last month with a pensioners ticket :o(
