On the Sussex coast, the snow is 99% gone. We had quite heavy rain through the night and that got rid of most of it.
Heavy rain in the North West. Hope it doesnt freeze causing black ice. Temperature is up to +2 degrees at the moment.
I live on the Gower, Swansea, and we have not had much snoow just a flurry. It is VERY VERY COLD and frost in the mornings. I play golf at Pennard so you can imagine the course is not good at the moment. Hope weather improves soon.
The snow is starting to look all furry with frost forming on top of it, there's been freezing fog for 2 days and the temperature has been between -12 and -17 for the past 2 days. I think we've got a wee while yet before it thaws :)
sadly , the icicles here are still hanging on !
No snow here since the 1" we had last week melted! Lots of hoar frost though, the trees look like they are made of lace:-)
