Hi, of you google harris tweed shop, newtonmore there is a site there with a lot
of comments from around the world of people who have brought harris tweed, I hope to get up to this shop for some winter tweeds, I have an harris tweed hat which I brought in 1982. (cost a weeks wage give or take a quid or two) when I visited France they certainly sold harris tweed there a few years ago and a hat like mine cost over £60.... I was visiting and stayed at Nevers where the shrine of St Bernadette and the nun pointed to my Harris tweed hat and said Scotch wool.... I then showed her the label inside the hat and said yes scotch wool. I was amazed a french nun would even conside it was a special wool.
