Yes.
It hangs in a display case in my hallway. :o)

It is, ummmm.
They are also given a NATO medal (which hangs alongside it in the hall) but because it is not recognised by MOD (or something) it does not form part of the accepted medal cluster.

JtH, junior has just spent 8 months at Shawbury, bob.

He says that he quite enjoyed being part of RAF as it wasn't like being in the military at all...........;o)

He's quite right jth, whilst the others dug in, we checked in!
If you imagine a militant arm of the Salvation Army, you have the RAF :), never mind though as our food, accomodation pay and women were always better than the other services. Jealousy is a hard thing to handle ;-)
