Although we're all going to an organised Bonfire/Firework do tomorrow we've bought a few (pretty) fireworks for a little do in the garden later, There will be half a dozen of us and I'll be doing jacket pots, sausages, toffee apples etc & mulled wine.

Now one of my neighbours has poo-pooed the idea and has asked me if I've taken insurance out for the night, isn't this taking PC too far. I've never heard of such a thing, he's put a real damper on things now, what would you do? Cancel it? - OR what?

If you're not opening your garden to the public then you don't need event insurance - he's just being a miserable g1t. Give him a sausage.
Jemisa have your bonfire and enjoy it while you can.
