Nuisance Calls to Business Line

I receive calls daily to our office number either trying to sell us private health insurance or asking about our mobile contracts (presumably to sell us a different one but I never let it get far enough to find out). They are sooooo frustrating. Is there anything you can do about them? As it's a business line, I'm not sure I could/should sign up to TPS.

Just tell them you are an office junior and play dumb, saying the boss isn't here. It would be him who deals with it and so on

I usually quite politely just tell them in no uncertain terms we are not interested. I'm just fed up with getting them in the first place.
you can sign up to the TPS, we have a work.
Doesnt stop them all, but a good few
I used to get nuisance calls all the time from a double glazing company. When I said to them that if they called again I would let them send someone to my house to give me an estimate and when they arrive tell them I have wasted their time like they keep wasting mine all the phone all the calls stopped.
A chap I know works night shifts and when he gets a daytime cold call that wakes him he always says "I'm busy trying to sleep at the moment, but give me your number and I'll call you back at 3.00 a.m."
Businesses can register with Corporate TPS. Like the service for residential numbers, it's free but (unlike the residential service) you have to renew your registation every year:

Do you advertise with Thomsan Local??? as these seem to sell and circulate your number which does enable unwanted calls, you can contact them and select not to receive 3rd party marketing if this is the case..
I tell them to ring proprietor after 7pm - we're closed then.
