I posted a parcel, securely wrapped and clearly addressed,2nd class in my local post office in Paignton. Over 2 weeks later it still hasn't arrived at it's destination in Norfolk. Being upset at it's non delivery and too impatient to wait 15 working days before filling in the appropriate form,I have made my own enquiries. From Paignton it would have gone to Exeter. Customer Services told me it would have gone straight to either of two sorting offices near my friend's address in Watton
I phoned them both. One cannot find it and at the other one someone is looking. I often wonder when things go missing where they disappear to in the system. I can understand things getting lost or thrown to one side when they are poorly wrapped and the address is unreadable. I'm sorry to be having a moan, but having spent time and care choosing something nice for my friends birthday,I really did hope she would receive it. I'm not sure I can trust Royal Mail again
