I was walking to university the other day when I witnessed a woman's dog get run over... I ran right over and unfortunetly the dog did not make it. I carried the dog into her home and said goodbye and that was the end of it.. I am undecided whether to write a card or take flowers? I'm swaying towards it not being my place at all and also do people do that for dogs? Any advice would be greatful. Regards.

Most people dont do things like that no, but what the hell, its a lovely thought and might make her smile a bit, the poor thing.

I'd just post a card though, flowers do seem a bit OTT.
It's nice to know there are nice caring people in the world still. A card is a lovely thought.
Buy her another dog?
Joey, I think you did enough by helping to take the dog to her home and helping her out at the time. Not everyone would have done that.
People get very attached to their pets. I think it would be lovely to give a card. I agree with Boo,, flowers OTT!
