The Four Tops

I never had the pleasure of seeing The Four Tops live, so did the late great Levi Stubbs sing on his own or did the three other Tops join him?...I only ask cos the only time I saw them was on Top of the Pops and Levi was singing and the three others were doing a dance routine...so how was it live?...both or a mixture? Ta Muchly.

Saw The Four Tops in Dundee, October 1982 (I think!)

They did a short (just over an hour) set, very professional, Levi Stubbs still in fantastic voice and my recollection is that the other three tops (all original at that stage) whilst dancing, did indeed provide (pretty decent) back-up vocals.

I saw them at the brentwood centre in 1986. They were good but the set was only about 50 mins. Not good value for money.
