I've spent the pm out on my mountain bike with T2, so ...

... I think I've earned a good dinner.

Going round to pals' house in about half an hour.

Hope you're all looking forward to your Sunday dinners.

For those who ate earlier and had Sunday lunch ... hope you enjoyed it.

I've had an offer to crash over for the night. Now that's just ASKING for a lairy evening.

It's important to do these things, HB.

You should never have to look back and think ... "I wish I'd done [whatever]"

Like my friend said to me some time last year... "Never regret the things you do. Only regret the things you don't do."

That should be on a tee shirt !

Hi, BJ x
hi JJ
x
I'm currently making roasted red pepper and red onion soup... This could go horridly wrong, I've already stopped following the recipie...
What could go wrong, china? I always make soups without a proper recipe.

It sounds lush, btw. x
Well the main thing that just went wrong is that there's way too much in my biggest saucepan so I've had to seperate them out... I've also added balsamic vinegar, a little chilli (well obviously) and left the rosemary leave thingys floating on the top that the peppers and onions were roasting in which I'm supposed to disgard.

I also couldn't get hold of the stock I usually use so had to 'guesstimate' the amount of concentrate I would need, it's M&S so hopefully quality would get me through.

Other than that it's going really well lol!
Blimey... that sounds complicated to me.

I invariably roast all the veg (onions and garlic included) and transfer to the pan with water or stock and add 1 to 2 stock cubes, plus herbs and spices, and let it all reduce. Blitz and add more water/stock as necessary.
This is my first go at this one... I think it'll be ok but I suspect if it's ok and I'm doing it again, I'll be adding a couple of gloves of garlic. I've also said I'll put some chorizo in for snags if I deem it a soup worthy of forcing other people to eat!
