Hi has anyone ever had ultra sonic shock wave treatment for Achilles Tendonits if so, did it work?

Burning in groin

Change in periods (( not one for the blokes lol ))

This is an arguable method of treatment and is inconclusive to whether it's an efficient way of treating the condition. It may well work for you though..Have corticosteroids not been an effective treatment so far?

i have only been given co-codamal and told to do foot exercises, but its been well over a year and my feet are still hurting. So that is why the consultant has suggested this treatment.
