Thanks to that wonderful 'European Court of Human Rights' we now have to hang on even longer to these two bits of scum.Babar Ahmad and radical preacher Abu Hamza,

Two others Haroon Rashid Aswat and Seyla Talha Ahsan have also been have also been granted more time before extradition warrants can be carried out.

Surely any extradition arrangements between Britain and the US, should have nothing to do with the rest of Europe?

Let's get rid of them pronto, the Yanks wont mess about, they will soon have them in chains and on trial.

More saving for Britain.

come on anotheoldgit, you should know by now

a) The scum of the world come here.

b) Once here, no matter what they do, we cannot get rid of them.
And to think that our last Government was all for handing over alleged computer hacker Gary McKinnon to the Yanks, and now the present one is content, at the behest of the ECHR, to hold onto these scumbags who have openly espoused their hatred towards us.

What kind of message does that send out? "Puppets" springs to mind.
We wouldn't extradite anyone to the USA who might face the death penalty. And quite rightly so.
If someone was accused of a crime that might merit a sentence of a year or two in prison here but a life sentence in the USA we shouldn't extradite them either.
sandyroe,
McKinnon is supposedly looking at a 60 year sentence if convicted. I think he's at least in his thirties, so would be very unlikely to see out the "time" - I'd call that a life sentence.
imagine, a court insisting on listening to evidence before reaching a judgment! Why don't they just do what the tabloids tell them to do?
Who are these faceless bureaucrats in the EU who seem to grant all these terrorists their freedom. With such responsibility they should be named and shamed!

Would you be so compassionate if they executed a terrorist plot that killed a close member of your own family?

Or are you one of those that says, "I don't hold any grudge against them, I forgive them"?

Now uncross those fingers before you reply.

Rather than having to hang on to them why don't we just hang them instead

We'd be rid of 2 terrorists and save a hell of a lot of money as well
