I want to transfer all my old films and pics from my Nokia phone to my PC. Any idea what lead I need to buy to be able to do this? And how does it plug in?! I thought I had to buy a bluetooth thing, but the lady in the shop said I just need a lead.

As the lady said, you need a USB Data cable to connect your phone to the PC. The exact one will vary according to the model of the phone. I'm surprised she didn't offer to sell you one there and then!

You will then need to load the Nokia PC Suite which should be on a disk supplied with your phone to enable it to be sychronised with the PC

Cables and software, should you need it, are readily available from Ebay

Depending on your phone, you would be better off buying the bluetooth thing you talk about.

If your phone is bluetooth compatable you will find this much easier

i bought one for less than 10 from ebay, it is faster and more reliable than usb - needs no leads and comes with all the software you need.
