I am being forced to visit a friend for lunch on Sunday - therefore missing my traditional family Sunday Lunch. Just because it is his "birthday" or something equally as ridiculous. As we're having a curry - doesn't seem like a lunchtime thing to me really. I find his actions very inconsiderate.
Besides that I am quite looking forward to the weekend!
All the best
Spare Ed
PS. The weekend Ed is having this Friday off, so you'll be lucky enough to have my company tonight. Anyone got any games planned?
lol yep, the proton pack and boiler suit will be very clean in readiness.
Little CRX is 5 in july so the teachers at nursery will have a bit to tell me (they do have to follow certain learning curves even at 3 and 4). Its amazing how they have to assess every little thing a child does and give an age bracket that the child is in line with.
I expect that he will be about age 3 for drawing "mummy i drew you another tumbleweed" but advanced in his maths.
I am having my Burns Haggis night tomorrow. I had to delay it because of the bad weather in January.. I have managed to catch the haggis that rolled down the hill as some of them are very unsteady with one leg longer than the other .
I have stopped celebrating getting my new flat and will be spending the weekend packing boxes, advertising things I need to get rid of on Freecycle, and cleaning. Will be worth it in the end though.
Big day on Sunday, my first time judging Best In Show at a dog show. Taken me years to get to this stage, and looking forward to it. Never knew I had so many friends who keep ringing up and chatting......... but they will have to take their chances with everyone else.
LOL @ lankeela. And dogdom is SO friendly all the time, it's a wonder you've noticed you've suddenly got friends ringing you up !
Congratulations on being appointed !
It's the Arsenal game on Sunday, at noon, so 'Sunday lunch' will be the famous Stamford Bridge hotdog and a bottle of Pepsi Max with the top taken off. Saturday looks like being my mending two gates on the farm and then off down the pub but I dare say the family will have other ideas/orders ! .
The man hostage is coming over later (probably about the same time I emerge from my post work drinkies in a slightly 'happier' state) so will probably just have dinner with him, poor lad's meeting my father tomorrow as we've been invited out for lunch and then we'll probably just watch a DVD in the evening and chill out Sunday.
Lol! Not quite vibra.... We're just having lunch as dad's not seen me since I got back from Oz and blokey is down for the weekend and it seems rude to leave him chained to the kitchen sink (I've a lot of washing up needs doing) while I go swanning off for lunch.
EDIT Er..anyone going to the Bridge at noon is going 4 hours too early ! It's a 4pm kick off for the Arsenal game.Just thought I'd mention it in case I'd misled somebody supporting Chelsea. (Gooners are welcome to turn up at noon and they should disregard this message).
