to play the National Lottery using your own set numbers each week, than to buy a Lucky Dip ticket each week with computer generated numbers.
Just interested, as a result of a pub chat yesterday.

if the no's 1-6 haven't come up, that's a fact and well done you, but the odds are the same for any combination of 6 numbers.

so to answer brenda's question, there is no difference using lucky dip or your own numbers.

Any choice of 6 numbers have the same probability which is one in 49 x 48 x 47 x 46 etc down to 6. However, goodluck tonight!
