Is it probably just flu...?

Hey,

For the past couple of days, mainly today, I've had a wet cough, some sore muscles and a bit of a sore head, and just generally felt tired. Just seems like flu, but I also have sensitive skin in the top half of my arms and also on my back. Is this probably just part of it?

When u say a wet cough do you mean you're bringing up phlegm? If so this is good, it means you're getting rid of germs. Don't think it's flu more like a bad cold - you know the drill, plenty fluids n paracetamol will do the trick.

Hmm... I bring up a wee bit of phlegm but not much, in fact hardly any at all. It just feels and sounds wet if that makes sense, as opposed to a dry cough?

Where do you come from hun? I only ask but my daughter and grandson have had a persistent cough for some time now and it seems to be doing the rounds

pauli....if you also have a temperature, then yes it is almost certainly influenza.

I have just come on this site to post a question similar to yours! Both my husband and I have these symptoms, also both really bad indigestion/heartburn (I never get this) get waves of sickness, headachy, lethargic and quite flu like. All symptoms are coming and going, one min I feel okayish and then feel awful again. A friend has exactly the same and lightheadedness too, I am guessing this is a virus doing the rounds.........
