this might be one for squad.

i have asthma and often get wheezy coughs or just get wheezy at night time.

more often than not when i am wheezy, i get an internal itch just below my right armpit and no matter how much i scratch it won't go away because it fels like it is inside me. My inhaler does normaly stop it but its just wierd and probly not normal to get it in the first place.

what is it? and why do i get it? and how common is it?

by the way if this helps (i don't know how it would but it might), i have a blue inhaler and a family history of asthma but non of them have had this 'internal itch'

gp thought i had broken my foot and it hadnt healed proply.

and loads of other kinds of specialists have guessed at; teared muscles that have healed wrongly,

nerve damage (but my neurological doctor that i see every year for my back ruled that out),

dislocated bone that's done something to my muscles or tendon,

somethings happened to my tendons/ ligaments but the doctor was just guessing.
molly......as a wild, wild guess and assuming it only happens when you are taking ventolin, I would suspect a side effect of ventolin...........but it is only a guess.
I fell up a kerb (sober) and hurt my foot. It was only a little bit painful. Then we couldn't get a taxi, we were away for the weekend, and I ended up having to walk 5 miles back to our hotel. The next morning I couldn't get my shoe on for the wedding I was attending.

Went to the doctor when I got back and he told me to come back in a month if it hadn't gone down. I never went back as I no longer had any pain. It's still swollen and if walk for too long it gets bigger....still no pain though.

but what about the foot? or are you confuddled aswell?

squad if you don't mind me asking what was/is your job?
because of the asnwers you've given, i think you were a gp because you seem to be able to give answers on lots of things. on the otherhand specialist doctors have to do general training before they specialise so now i'm not sure.
