This is how this country gets to you.i bouught some chicken pieces from morrisons and froze them last month(end of JUNE) I just took them out of the freezer this morning to make a curry and the use by date is the 27th of june.on the back of the packet it says use within one month if frozen,so its over the month.will they be ok to eat or am i just being paranoid!!

You're being paranoid. I often freeze chicken and keep it for long periods, with no ill effects as long as your freezer works properly and keeps the temperature really low (-18 or lower).

Those messages are just like all the other messages to protect their "product reputation".

It's a bit like common salt-limited life,use by,etc. The fact that its been buried for 50000years ,before being mined makes a nonsense of the warnings. Almost as silly as a nut bar having the warning 'this product may contain nuts!
You will probably be ok. I would risk it.
