Southern Ireland ?
2 Answers
Should probably post this in the travel section, but was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice place to stay for a holiday in S.Ireland?
I'm taking my mum away at the end of June and we've never been but heard it's a beautiful place.
We want something relaxing, beechy, nice little villages and towns to visit, we like museums and gardens etc.
Has anyone been (or lives there!) who can recommend places to stay and visit?
We are based in yorkshire and will prob be going over on the ferry. Not sure which is the most direct route, so all advice on that would be appreciated too.

I stayed just outside of Kenmare last year in a lovely B&B. No it isn't on the beach but just on Kenmare Bay. It's on the Ring of Kerry and central to visit a lot of places.
This is the review and just google Watersedge Kenmare for their website.
