I have a concern. This morning Waterboadman's thread disappeared. From the postings I understand that he was put into the dungeon for overposting! This troubled me deeply. Having read the postings on the a.m. thread I consider it to be one of the healthier aspects of this site.

This site has a enormous amount of drivel (psychic and literary incontinence) which I love. It usually ends with some creative output which makes it tolerable; however Waterboatman's thread every morning is a positive, affirming, validating theme which ought to be encouraged and maintained. The postings are a delight to read the removal of such in order to punish the 'overposter' results in punishment for all.

Thankfully this a.m. Bensmum continued the thread. I am curious as to why there is no such thing as 'Platinum Poster Status' that does not restrict the postings of the generous souls on this site.

There are many on this site that I would dearly love to see restricted to an oubliette, Waterboatman is not one of them................

Hi, iam new on here & have seen Waterboat mentioned a lot, all gud. Here here Razzle.
It's an automatic fail safe piece of software to prevent spamming, it's not a human decision, if you press the submit button too many times in close succession something techno kicks in and zaps you, but the whole thread shouldn't go, maybe something happened like happened to a few of us the other week, thankfully they reinstated WBM.
Platinum status is available via uk.net guide

if you have paypal?
Hello Razzle , nice to meet you , I saw waterboatmans thread when it came back on after 10ish so waterboatman himself should have returned with it , so hopefully isn't in the dungeon any more . x
Thank you razzle - fortunately waterboatman was swiftly re-instated this morning but this isn't the first time it has happened. I do understand that there are rules about overposting but the morning thread is innocuous and a pleasure to take part in.

everyone neeeds to space out posts

otherwise youre automatically flagged as spamming the site

same for everyone.

Thanks folks I am just frustrated. Postings indicated that so many leave the site and it would seem that WBM postings are one of the 'attractions' from 4-11 a.m.

Unfortunately the current Mr. Razzle is abroad being the hunter/gatherer and as I don't have him to say 'Good morning' to I welcome the chat on the WBM thread. Given the amount of postings he requires more clicks than the 'drivelers' and I don't see how this cannot be sorted. I am not one of the technomagi but I would imagine it would not be difficult to set up on site.

Not you No Knowledge. I appreciate the contribution and wit of most
OOO I forgot about the Platinum membership, that was on the old CB though, B00, jno, China and I were members, and Buenchico I think, who else was? I've forgotten now.
As I said legend - I do understand the rules. The problem in the morning sometimes is that the site is very, very slow and answers get timed out. There is then the tendency to hit the submit button too many times.
